“Lord, I no longer want to live my life independently and bear my burdens alone. I want to be Yours. Thank You that I do not have to pull the load. Thanks also that You do not force me to sit by passively and watch You work. I choose to obey You today by getting in Your yoke. My wisdom is not sufficient for these plans. My strength is not adequate for these tasks. My endurance is not up to this pain. Please give me Your resurrection power to overcome and Your grace as my sufficiency. My defenses are not secure for this battle. Show me how to enter into the victory that You have already won. At the same time, Lord, I choose to submit to Your will. I will not turn aside, but I’ll stay in the yoke and follow Your lead. I will not abandon the mission, but I’ll work by the wisdom You teach me, by the adequacy that You give!
